WEEE B2B Default Solution
The Four Steps to Peace of Mind
Step One – Historic WEEE ‘Audit’. We will complete an audit on all electronic equipment you have purchased before 13th August 2005. This equipment may not necessarily be waste; it can still be in use.
Step Two – WEEE ‘Policy Writing’. This is an implementation phase. We record all of your current electronic and electrical equipment and divide into 6 waste streams. We introduce flexibility into EEE procurement options.
Step Three – WEEE ‘Disposal’. We’ll asses the required container solutions (3rd Party Designated Collection Facilities (DCF’s)) and tell you about the two types of removal. 1) Internal removal – if you have a large site or multiple sites, this is where you take the WEEE to the DCF. 2) External removal – this is where we collect the WEEE from the DCF and take it to the Accredited Treatment Facility (ATF).
Step Four – Outcome. You now have your
WEEE Policy in place (compliant with 14001 and 9001 Industry
Standards). You receive Care and Compliance Certification
but you’ll also have improved corporate social responsibility,
environmental performance and peace of mind.
